This self-centering chuck features reversible jaws to hold a drill or workpiece from 1/64" to 2" in diameter. The chuck is 1.950" in diameter x 1.450" tall and weighs 12 ounces with the keys. The step jaws can easily be reversed to give you lots of flexibility. It will fit on any mini lathe that has a 12mm x 1mm spindle. The unit operates by inserting a chuck key (pin) into a hole in the body and a second pin in a hole in the knurled ring at the base. By rotating the base the hardened jaws can simultaneously be opened or closed like a conventional drill chuck. I've spent some time working with this chuck, and it's really a useful tool.
