HARDINGE SUPER PRECISION LATHE Model HLV-H: I always wanted to own the very best of the American precision lathes and settled on a Hardinge. Hardinge lathes have been made since the late 19th Century and are still being produced by the same company. The Hardinge HLV-H is pretty much “the” lathe to own if you want the best. I purchased mine in England and had it rebuilt there by ZMT Services to the original Hardinge specifications. I had it fitted with a Sony Digital Readout with tenths precision. With a complete set of 5C collets, three and four jaw chucks and a few specialized attachments, it’s been a joy to own and use. The Hardinge HLV-H is pretty much “the” lathe to own if you want the best. I purchased mine in England and had it rebuilt there by ZMT Services to the original Hardinge specifications.
